The Story

Still red Barolo DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Beni di Batasiolo. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75 l bottle, 2016 vintage. A Barolo that embodies the tradition of Piedmont, a wine born from the passion of the Dogliani family, who have been involved in the world of wine in the Langhe for almost fifty years. Manual harvest in the first half of October. Destemming and fermentation with maceration of the skins for at least 10 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with periodic pumping over. Aged in Slavonian oak barrels and subsequently in stainless steel tanks. After this period, the wine continues to age in the bottle. Intense and persistent aromas of dried fruit, red fruit jam, flowers, toasted notes, and spices. Deep garnet red color with orange highlights. On the palate, it is full-bodied, pleasantly tannic, and balanced by the acidity that perfectly balances the alcohol content.
