The Story
A still red wine from Veneto, produced by Bolla, a historic Veronese winery. An Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Le Origini Riserva DOCG, 2018 vintage, that celebrates the tradition and excellence of this iconic wine. The Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes are dried for approximately 120 days, enriching the berries with sugars and aromas. Aged for 12 months in 750-liter barrels, 36 months in 40- and 80-hl barrels, and 9 months in bottle. Aromas of wild cherries, jam, ripe pear, vanilla, licorice, and cedar wood. Deep and velvety garnet red with a purplish edge. Full-bodied, warm on the palate with distinct hints of cocoa and spice. A perfect wine to accompany important dishes and special evenings.
