The Story

Still red wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 12.5% ABV, 100% Pinot Noir, produced by Bosco del Merlo. 0.75 L bottle, 2024 vintage. A Pinot Noir born from the passion of a historic winery, aiming to fully express the terroir's potential. The pebbly soil and marked temperature variations favor optimal ripening, enhancing the balance between acidity and structure. Fermentation with maceration of the skins at controlled temperatures between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel. On the nose, it is very elegant, with notes of small berries such as currants and raspberries, which give way to pleasant spicy sensations. A pale red color, enriched with garnet hues. On the palate, it is balanced and harmonious, with good savory flavors, light acidity, and well-defined tannins. Fine and elegant, it finishes with a good persistence.
