The Story
Still red from Trentino-Alto Adige, 13.5% ABV, 100% Lagrein, produced by Andriano. Vintage 2023. A Lagrein that expresses the soul of the Alto Adige terroir, with a bold character and unexpected elegance. In 1893, the winemakers of Andriano had the courage to join forces, founding the first cooperative winery in Alto Adige and the then Austro-Hungarian Empire. 115 years later, in 2008, they made another historic decision, signing an alliance with the renowned Terlano Winery, located on the other side of the Adige Valley. Aged and malolactic fermentation in large oak barrels for 6 months. Aromas of berries (blackberry, blackcurrant), violets, and Alpine plums. Garnet red color. Structured, with soft tannins, persistent, a wine that invites tasting.
