Ample and distinct, well-defined with a distinct aroma of ripe blackberry and licorice root, with hints of morello cherry jam, white truffle, spices, and vanilla. A very intense ruby red. Dry without harshness, warm, full-bodied, and generous, austere yet velvety, with an aristocratic aftertaste of toasted almonds; the clean and elegant aroma lingers for a long time and is rewarded on the finish.
