The Story
Still white wine from Tuscany, 12% ABV, produced by Casanova di Neri. Blend: 60% Vermentino, 40% Grechetto. 0.75L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine born from the passion for great Italian red wines of Giovanni Neri, founder of the winery in 1971. Manual harvest, mid-September. Manual selection of the grapes before and after destemming. Spontaneous fermentation without the use of added yeasts in temperature-controlled steel vats for 12 days. The nose is dominated by notes of Mediterranean scrub, with sage prominent, followed by exotic fruits such as mango. Bright yellow with golden highlights. On the palate, the generosity of a great vintage like 2019 is tangible, contrasted by a vibrant acidity. The finish is fresh and elegant.
