Castello del Terriccio Lupicaia 2019

This is the company's flagship wine, or rather the wine that has made the company known throughout the world. Its name originates from a place in the Terriccio area where wolves, once present in the area, would come out into the open before attacking their prey; in Tuscan slang, this is the so-called "balzello", i.e. the point where the wolf, coming out of the bush, could be killed before attacking its prey; from "place of the wolf hunt" it then becomes Lupicaia
