The Story

Still red Pessac Léognan Grand Cru Classé des Graves, 14% ABV, produced by Chateau Malartic Lagravière. Blend: 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. 0.75L bottle, 2015 vintage. A Bordeaux wine that embodies the excellence and tradition of Pessac-Léognan, with a prestigious classification that attests to its superior quality. Domaine de Lagravière has always been recognized for the quality of its terroir. Complex nose, in which the blackcurrant and mint of the Cabernet Sauvignon marry wonderfully with blackberry and vanilla notes and hints of toasted oak. It slowly develops on the palate; the initial impression is ripe yet delicate, then the fine-grained tannins make themselves felt on the palate. Very long finish.
