The nose is inviting, with typical Chardonnay notes of lemon, pineapple, and especially mango, accentuated by the buttery texture of oak barrel aging. Aromas of red fruits such as blackcurrant and raspberry, typical of Pinot Noir, and hints of licorice are also discernible. Pale gold with copper highlights.
