The Story

Still red from the Jura, France, 12% ABV, 100% Pinot Noir. Produced by Domaine de la Borde. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A Pinot Noir that embodies the essence of the Jura terroir, with winemaking that respects nature and tradition. The grapes are harvested by hand to begin the winemaking process with selected, high-quality grapes. Respect for the terroir is reflected in essential principles such as contact treatments without synthetic molecules, grassing and natural soil cultivation, the absence of chemical weeding to preserve the steeply sloping terroirs, minimal SO2 dosage, and fermentation with indigenous yeasts. On the nose, aromas of red fruits are accompanied by sweet spicy notes that evoke the wine's complexity. On the palate, the wine is fresh and dynamic, with a pleasant persistence.
