The Story

Carte Blanche Brut is a French sparkling wine with character, elegant, fine, and complex. Produced by the Jean Michael cellar, a family-run business that has specialized in traditional winemaking for over 160 years, it has obtained and proudly maintains the AOC Champagne Brut certification of controlled origin. It is made from a skillful blend of 40% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir, and 50% Pinot Meunier grapes, both white and red. The vineyards located in the Champagne region are lovingly tended, respecting the environment, adopting appropriate working methods according to the dictates of organic farming. The vines draw nourishment from the earth and the sky, favoring a calcareous-clayey soil and a constant, cold climate. Carte Blanche Brut is the result of an extraordinary blend of reserve wines, subjected to further aging, and three unique cuvées, the result of different terroirs, winemaking processes, and vintages. It is produced using the classic brut method of sparkling winemaking, with secondary fermentation in the bottle. Aging is its highlight and takes place in traditional cellars dating back to the 18th century. This additional process gives the wine a pleasant structure and creaminess. Intense, complex, and smooth, it is characterized by notes of ripe fruit well-blended with marzipan.
