The Story

A vintage Brut Classic Method sparkling rosé, 12.5% ABV, produced by La Scolca, a historic Piedmontese winery since 1919. Blend: 95% Cortese, 5% Pinot Noir. 0.75L bottle, 2013 vintage. A rosé that celebrates the tradition and excellence of the Soldati family, with a long aging on the lees that enhances its complexity. Lightly spiced, intense, and persistent. Notes of pastry and white chocolate. From a warm, amber-colored initial impression, it transitions to intense aromas of exotic fruits, which fade into honey and spices, creating a smooth and elegant overall effect. A pale, light pink color. It maintains the aroma, which is bold and full-bodied, with a decisive, fresh backbone; a velvety, continuous texture, refined by the long aging on the lees; pleasantly acidic, with a delightful hint of almond. The finish is of rare beauty with hints of candied fruit.
