The Story

Still organic white wine from Piedmont, 12.5% ABV, produced by La Spinetta. 100% Timorasso, 2024 vintage. A Derthona Timorasso that celebrates the excellence of this native Piedmontese grape, with the passion and expertise that distinguish La Spinetta winery. Vineyards in the municipalities of Montemarzino, Montegioco, and Monleale. Climate: Altitude: 350-400 m above sea level. Exposure: South/West, South/East. Soil composition: Marly limestone, clay, tending towards sandy. Destemming and soft pressing; followed by alcoholic fermentation in small steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is left to rest on its fine lees for approximately 8 months, before being filtered and bottled, where it ages for a further 3 months. The delicate hydrocarbon notes harmonize with citrus and floral aromas, which return on the palate. On the palate it is savoury and generous, with a clean and persistent finish.
