The Story
Sweet aromatic passito, 13% ABV, produced by La Stoppa in Emilia-Romagna. 0.50 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine born from the passion of a historic winery, founded in 1973, for organically grown Malvasia di Candia. Maceration on the skins for approximately 20 days in steel and/or concrete tanks. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged in used French oak barriques. On the nose, hints of dried fruit such as figs and raisins precede a palate reminiscent of ripe fruit. Yellow color with golden highlights.
