The Story

Still red from Nuits Saint Georges, a prestigious Burgundy appellation, 13% ABV, 100% Pinot Noir. Produced by Louis Lequin. 0.75 L bottle, 2019 vintage. A wine that expresses the elegance and complexity of Burgundian Pinot Noir, with a vintage that promises great balance and aging potential. Domaine Louis Lequin covers 7 hectares, spread across the villages of Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard, Corton, and Nuits Saint Georges. Two grape varieties are grown: Pinot Noir for the red wines and Chardonnay for the white wines. The Pinot Noir vines are pruned using the Cordon de Royat method; this limits yield, aerates the vines, and provides more sunlight to the grapes. A bouquet with fruity aromas, accompanied by notes of undergrowth. Ruby red in color. On the palate, the wine has remarkable depth and a long finish.
