The Story
Delle Venezie IGT still white wine, 13% ABV, produced by Masottina. 100% Chardonnay. 0.75 L bottle, 2018 vintage. A wine made on the Ai Palazzi estate in Gorgo al Monticano, where the Dal Bianco family has been producing wines since 1946. Maceration: the must rests on the skins for approximately 12 hours, followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation: partly in Allier barriques, partly in steel tanks. Great harmony and power. Our senses are captivated and enchanted by a sensorial palette that ranges from ripe fruit to floral. Immediately sensual, it envelops us with notes of apricot, yellow plum, peach, and winter melon. Its narrative continues with fresh yet fully ripe citrus: pink grapefruit, lemon, and citron; To gently indulge in more mature notes of candied ginger, orange honey, quince jam, jasmine, and orange blossom. Pale straw yellow with elegant jade highlights. Harmonious and dense, it strikes an exhilarating balance between the soft freshness of the fruit and the radiant power of its rich extracts.
