A Barolo Riserva made in Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Vigna Rionda vineyard. The Massolino winery has been producing wine since 1896, with passion and tenacity. Fermentation and maceration are prolonged in oak vats, followed by aging in Slavonian barrels for 42 months, followed by 24 months in bottle. It reveals a wide range of sensations, broad and enveloping, ranging from those of the early years, more red fruit and floral, to the more evolved aromas of undergrowth, tobacco, and spices that emerge with aging. Deep garnet red in color. A wine capable of complexity, longevity, and structure, blended into an unparalleled elegance.
