Still red wine from Salento in Puglia, 14.5% ABV, produced by Mottura. 100% Negroamaro, a grape variety that best expresses the characteristics of the terroir. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. It was 1927 when Pasquale Mottura founded what would become one of the most important wineries in Salento. Pre-fermentation cold maceration with bleeding. Subsequent traditional maceration with periodic pumping over and delestage. Alcoholic fermentation conducted with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature. Aged for 8-10 months in first-use French oak barriques. The nose recalls Mediterranean herbs and wild berries, with a spicy vanilla undertone. The color is intense red with intense garnet reflections. On the palate, it stands out for its persistence, with a soft and fruity finish.
