Still red Barolo DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Paolo Scavino. 100% Nebbiolo, 2020 vintage. A Barolo that embodies the history and passion of a family that has been producing excellent wines in the heart of the Langhe since 1921. Aged for two years in barriques and large barrels, followed by one year in bottle. As befits the cru, the nose is dark, austere, almost autumnal, with distinct sensations of ash, cumin, plum jam, damp soil, and Latakia tobacco. On the palate, it is equally assertive, powerful yet never overpowering, with exemplary rigor and consistency. A wine that best expresses the Prapò terroir, ideal for pairing with red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
