The Story
A sweet, flavorful red wine produced in Piedmont by Pio Cesare. A Barolo Chinato made from an exclusive recipe, a tribute to Piedmontese tradition. Size: 0.75 L. To create it, small pieces of Cinchona Calissaia and Cinchona Succirubra bark are macerated in an infusion of alcohol and classic Barolo. To this base is added a blend of aromatic spices, including gentian root, rhubarb, cardamom seeds, sweet and bitter orange, cinnamon, and other secret spices. After aging for at least four months in stainless steel and at least two months in bottle, the Barolo Chinato is ready. A wine distinguished by its complexity and balance.
