The Story

Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 51.4% ABV, produced by Pittyvaich in Scotland. A 29-year-old whisky, with no vintage, matured in American oak casks. A tribute to the Pittyvaich distillery, which operated for a short time but left an indelible mark on the world of whisky. An overall mellow nose, with very light piping; slightly drying on the nose, with initial faint and delicate impressions of fruit and dried flowers, beneath which buttery notes emerge. A deep gold color with orange highlights. Naturally strong, it fills the mouth and has an ultra-smooth texture. The flavor is immediately rich and very sweet, with light dried fruit; golden sultanas in a light liqueur. It quickly becomes spicy, with tannic gunpowder tea on the mid-palate, and is drying overall.
