Still red Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Poliziano. Blend: 85% Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Colorino, Merlot. 0.75L bottle, 2019 vintage. A wine born from the passion of the Carletti family, who have been producing high-quality wines in Montepulciano since 1961. Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel “truncated-cone” vats for 15-20 days. Aged for approximately 14-16 months in wood, two-thirds in French oak barriques and tonneaux and one-third in vats. A broad and complex nose of red fruit jam, peony, dried rose, tobacco, and a delicate touch of pencil lead. Full ruby red. Refined elegance on the palate with fine, perfectly integrated tannins. Long finish.
