Extra Brut Classic Method Sparkling Rosé from Trentino Alto Adige, 12.5% ABV, produced by Revi. 100% Pinot Noir, 2018 vintage. A Trento DOC Riserva that celebrates the excellence of Italian sparkling wine, aged on the lees for 72 months. A light toasted aroma, reminiscent of freshly baked bread crust, yeast, and berries such as strawberries, currants, raspberries, blueberries, and then cherries. A distinctive floral aroma reminiscent of nigritella, with an aroma that fades into notes of chocolate and vanilla, creating a fragrant and complex blend. An antique rose color. It is broad and succulent on the palate, medium dry, with a fruity note that recalls the aromatic palette described for the nose. Excellent harmony and persistence, with a lovely salty, mineral note and fresh acidity. The bubbles are crisp and have an interesting tension.
