The first bottle of Vecchio Moro was produced in 1996, the centenary of the birth of "Moro," father of founder Rinaldo, the winery. The nose reveals hints of blackberry and ripe plum. The color is a deep, impenetrable red. On the palate, the impact is structured: warm, frank, full-bodied, with just the right amount of tannins, and persistent.
