Robert Groffier Gevrey Chambertin Les Seuvrees 2020

Still red wine from Burgundy, 13.5% ABV, produced by Robert Groffier. 100% Pinot Noir, 2020 vintage. A Gevrey-Chambertin that embodies the elegance and complexity of Burgundian Pinot Noir, a tribute to Robert Groffier, founder of the winery. Domaine Robert Groffier is located on the border with Chambolle-Musigny, where the Groffier family has been producing wines since 1950. No herbicides have been used in the vineyard since 2005. The grapes are transferred to steel tanks where, using only indigenous yeasts, alcoholic fermentation takes place over 4-5 days. Pigeage is brief and frequent, and occasional remontages may be performed. On the nose, aromas of red fruits are accompanied by notes of licorice, anticipating a velvety and persistent palate.
