The Story

A rosé sparkling wine made using the Charmat method, produced by Ruggeri in the Veneto region, 2024 vintage. This Prosecco Rosé combines the freshness of Glera with the structure of Pinot Noir, creating a perfect balance between complexity and drinkability. The Glera grapes are vinified as a white wine at a temperature of 18°C. The Pinot Noir grapes are vinified as a red wine at a temperature of 25°C, with skin contact for approximately 4–5 days. The two base wines are then blended for secondary fermentation and a slow secondary fermentation in large, closed containers at 14–15°C, followed by maturation on the lees for at least 2 months. On the nose, the typical aromatic notes of Glera are enriched with very delicate and fresh aromas of wild berries, such as redcurrant and raspberry. The bouquet of white flowers and berries is finally enveloped by a delightful balsamic note of fresh rosemary leaves. A pale pink color reminiscent of peach blossoms. Each sip enters the mouth with a lively freshness, followed by a savory finish and the full-bodied structure of the Pinot Noir. It is complex and long-lasting, perfectly in keeping with the aromas. Harmonious and elegant, it closes with a long, silky finish.
