Organic still red wine from Etna DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Terra Costantino. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A wine made in Contrada Blandano, in Viagrande, from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes grown on volcanic soil. A typically Mediterranean bouquet reveals notes of small blackberry fruit, mastic shrubs with flowers and berries, and wild fennel against a background of lava, enhanced by balsamic notes of Sichuan pepper. A bright and transparent ruby color. On the palate, an excellent balance of fresh glycerine, velvety tannins, and a long, intensely savory finish.
