Tornatore Etna Rosso Pietrarizzo 2021

Still red wine from Etna DOC, 14.5% ABV, produced by Cantine Tornatore. 100% Nerello Mascalese blend, 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine that embodies the volcanic soul of Etna, with a history dating back to 1865. The hand-picked grapes are carefully vinified, macerating for approximately 10-12 days in truncated cone-shaped wooden vats. Aged for over a year in wooden barrels and concrete tanks and approximately 3 months in bottle. Delicate and incredibly balanced on the nose, with hints of small red fruits and flowers, perfectly integrated with a minerality and evolution worthy of a great wine. Pale ruby red color. On the palate, it has great structure but is surprisingly drinkable and elegant.
