Glarea, whose name means gravel in Rhaeto-Romance dialect, evokes ripe banana, dried apricot, and pineapple. Fermentation takes place in wood at a controlled temperature (19°C), with partial malolactic fermentation. Aged in barriques, tonneaux, and 12-hl barrels. Straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with a certain fullness and a very pronounced minerality. The freshness culminates in a long and harmonious finish.
