The Story
A still red from Tuscany, an IGT that expresses the excellence of Sangiovese Grosso, 13.5% ABV, produced by Villa Poggio Salvi. 2021 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A wine born from the passion of a family that has carefully cultivated its vineyards in Montalcino since 1979. Aged for eight months in Slavonian oak barrels and four months in bottle. The result is an elegant and complex wine, with spicy notes of cocoa, tobacco, and vanilla, enriched by hints of toasted almond. The color is a brilliant ruby red with purple hues. On the palate, it is dry, with a soft and harmonious attack, rich in velvety sensations and a long finish that invites further tasting.
